Aerodil Mixed Fruit Flavour Sugar Free Syrup is used to relieve wet cough and chest congestion in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a combination medicine containing ambroxol, a mucolytic, guaifenesin, an expectorant, and terbutaline, a bronchodilator.
This medicine helps thin and loosen mucus and open the airways so breathing is easier. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, using the measuring cup provided.
Drinking plenty of fluids helps loosen mucus. Steam inhalation and avoiding smoke, dust and cold air can also ease coughing.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid or diabetes, and about all other medicines you take. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat or marked tremor. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
