CompositionZIVAST 5 Tablet 10 is used to lower high cholesterol and triglycerides in adults, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. It is used alongside a diet low in saturated fat, usually as a long-term treatment.
It contains atorvastatin (5 mg), a statin that reduces the cholesterol produced by the liver. Take it as prescribed, at any time of day, with or without food, and keep taking it even when you feel well.

Tell your doctor about any liver or kidney problems before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, or dark urine, which can be early signs of a rare muscle problem.
