CompositionZedocef 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, ear, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract and skin. It helps clear the infection and relieve symptoms such as fever, pain and swelling.
It contains cefpodoxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria building their protective cell wall, which kills them.
Take it with food to improve absorption, and complete the full course even if you feel better early.
Tell your doctor about any allergy to antibiotics such as penicillin, or any kidney problems, before use. Seek help for a severe rash, difficulty breathing or ongoing diarrhoea.
