Zedex Syrup 100ml

Zedex Syrup is used to relieve a dry cough.

Uses of Zedex Syrup are:

• Dry Cough: Calms a dry, non-productive cough.
• Throat Irritation: Soothes throat irritation from upper-respiratory conditions.
• Allergy-Related Cough: Eases a cough with sneezing and a runny nose.

• Zedex Cough Syrup can be taken with or without water as the doctor recommends at a specific time.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the syrup.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Zedex Cough Syrup is taken orally. 

Zedex Mixed Fruit Flavour Syrup 100Ml composition contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 Mg) + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (10 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Chlorpheniramine maleate (2mg): It is an antihistamine which stops the effects of histamine inside the body. It works by stopping the movement of prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and other substances and prevents the movement of pain and inflammatory mediators. It narrows the capillary permeability, promotes smooth muscle relaxation, hence, there is reduced allergy reactions. 
• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (10mg): It is an antitussive (cough suppressant) which works centrally inside the brain in specific regions like medulla and nucleus tractus solaris and increases the threshold or heightens the pain perception. 

• Store Zedex Cough Syrup at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Zedex Cough Syrup away from children.
• Do not use Zedex Cough Syrup after the expiry date has passed.

• Zedex Cough Syrup should be taken with or after meals to avoid stomach upset and improve absorption. 
• Maintain good hydration by drinking water and clear fluids to soothe your throat.
• Avoid foods or beverages that can irritate your throat, such as spicy or acidic items.
• Consider using a humidifier in your room to keep the air moist, which can help ease throat discomfort.
• Get plenty of rest to aid in your recovery, and avoid strenuous physical activities if you feel unwell.
