Zanocin 200 Tablet 10

Zanocin 200 Tablet interacts with the following medicines: 

• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs' (NSAID) such as Aceclofenac- It may increase the neuroexcitatory(nerve stimulating) activities of this tablet.
• Antacids, Sucralfate, and Mineral Supplements: These can interfere with the absorption of ofloxacin when taken simultaneously.
• Anticoagulant drug such as Acenocoumarol - The therapeutic efficacy of Acenocoumarol can be increased when used in combination with this medicine.
• First generation sulfonylurea, oral hypoglycemic agent such as Acetohexamide- The therapeutic efficacy of Acetohexamide can be increased when used in combination with this tablet.
• Pyrazine carboxylic acids such as Acipimox- The risk or severity of myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, and myoglobinuria (muscle damage of various levels) can be increased when this tablet is combined with Acipimox.
• Corticosteroids such as Prednisone : Increased risk of tendon problems when used concurrently with ofloxacin.
• Certain Antiarrhythmic Medications: Ofloxacin may prolong the QT interval on the electrocardiogram, and combining it with other drugs that also affect the QT interval could increase the risk of serious heart rhythm abnormalities.

Zanocin 200 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Colitis: This tablet should be used with caution in individuals with colitis, as it may exacerbate the condition.
• CNS disorders (Central Nervous System Disorders): People with CNS disorders should be cautious when using this tablet, as it may cause central nervous system effects.
• Myasthenia gravis: It should be used with caution in individuals with myasthenia gravis, as it may worsen the condition.
• Peripheral neuropathy: This tablet may lead to changes in sensation and possible nerve damage, contributing to peripheral neuropathy.
• QT interval prolongation: It can potentially prolong the QT interval, which may increase the risk of certain cardiac arrhythmias

The recommended daily dose of these tablets should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may be changed based on the severity of the condition and response to the treatment.

If the excessive amount of Zanocin 200 Tablet is taken accidentally, seek medical attention immediately. Stomach emptying should be considered, and the patient observed with supportive care. Overdose can lead to symptoms such as drowsiness, nausea, dizziness, and facial swelling. 

Take the medicine as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take two doses at one time.
