Zanocin 100 Syrup may interact with drugs, including 

• Antacids such as aluminium hydroxide: It may lower the absorption of this syrup, thereby decreasing its effect.

• Anticoagulants such as warfarin: Their effect is increased when taken with this syrup.
• Bronchodilators such as theophylline: Its effect is increased when taken with this syrup.
• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin: NSAIDs when taken with this syrup, may cause CNS stimulation and seizures.
• Uricosurics such as probenecid: It may interact with this syrup and increase the effect of probenecid. 
• Antihistamines such as cimetidine: It may increase the effect of this syrup when taken together. 
• Immunosuppressants such as ciclosporin: Its levels are elevated when this syrup is taken with cyclosporine. 
• Antiarrhythmics such as amiodarone: It may worsen when taken along with this syrup. 

Zanocin 100 syrup may interact with diseases, including 

• Convulsions: It may worsen with the use of this syrup.
• Tendonitis related to quinolone therapy: It may worsen after using this syrup.
• Growth period (children to adolescence): This syrup may affect growth.

• Glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency: It may worsen with the use of this syrup.

• Diabetes: It may worsen with the use of this syrup.
