Tegrital 200 Tablet is used to treat epilepsy and nerve-related pain. It contains Carbamazepine, which works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain and reducing abnormal nerve signals. It is also effective in managing conditions like trigeminal neuralgia, reducing the intensity of pain attacks.

• Swallow Tegrital 200 tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Take the tablet at fixed times each day to maintain a consistent level of medication. 
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

• Tegrital 200 MG tablets should be administered orally.

• The active ingredient in Tegrital 200 MG tablet is carbamazepine, which exerts its medicinal activity by acting as an anticonvulsant and mood stabiliser. It works by regulating electrical activity in the brain and reducing abnormal firing of nerve signals that can lead to seizures in epilepsy or cause pain in trigeminal neuralgia. 
• Carbamazepine affects the activity of sodium channels in the body. It reduces the generation and transmission of electrical signals in the nerves. This is thought to happen by binding to a specific part of the sodium channels, which helps regulate their function and prevent excessive electrical activity in the brain.
