Vozet 10 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic urticaria, in adults experiencing itching, sneezing, watery eyes, and hives.

Uses of Vozet 10 Tablet are:

• Allergic Rhinitis: Relieves seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and red or watery eyes.
• Nasal and Eye Itching: Helps reduce itching of the nose and eyes caused by allergies.
• Chronic Urticaria: Provides relief from chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).

Follow these instructions while taking Vozet 10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You may take this medication with or without food, according to your preference.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

The active ingredient in Vozet 10 Tablet is Levocetirizine (10 mg), which acts on your body as follows:

• H1Receptor Antagonism: Levocetirizine is a potent antihistamine that selectively targets histamine H1 receptors. These receptors trigger allergic reactions. By blocking these receptors, levocetirizine helps reduce allergy symptoms.

• Stabilisation of Mast Cells and Eosinophils: Mast cells and eosinophils are types of immune cells that release inflammatory substances during an allergic reaction. By stabilising these cells, levocetirizine prevents them from releasing these substances, further reducing allergic symptoms.

• Reduction in Capillary Permeability: Capillaries are small blood vessels that can leak fluid into tissues during an allergic reaction, causing swelling and inflammation. Levocetirizine helps to decrease capillary permeability, thus reducing these effects.

• Inhibition of Inflammatory Mediators: Levocetirizine also inhibits the release of certain substances in the body that cause inflammation, helping to control allergic symptoms.
