Vorxar Tablet is used to manage diabetic dyslipidemia, a condition where a patient with type 2 diabetes has abnormal levels of blood fats. It is used to lower ""bad"" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing ""good"" cholesterol (HDL). By improving the lipid profile, it helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications in diabetic patients.
This medication contains Saroglitazar, a dual PPAR (Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor) agonist. It works by activating both alpha and gamma receptors in the body, which helps regulate fat metabolism and improve insulin sensitivity. This action helps lower both lipid levels and may help improve blood sugar control.
Take this tablet once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. It is most effective when combined with a heart-healthy diet and regular exercise. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any history of liver or kidney disease. Regular blood tests to monitor your lipid profile and liver enzymes are recommended during the course of treatment.
