Lipaglyn Tablet is used to manage high triglyceride and abnormal cholesterol levels in adults with type 2 diabetes when standard treatment is insufficient. It helps improve lipid balance, supports metabolic control, and may assist in managing fatty liver conditions under specialist supervision.

• Lipaglyn Tablet can be taken once as directed by your doctor.
• Lipaglyn Tablet should be administered orally with or without meals.
• Swallow the Lipaglyn tablet whole, without crushing or chewing, and with a glass of water.
• Continue the medication and follow the instructions as guided by your doctor.

Lipaglyn Tablet can be taken orally. The medication is taken by mouth with water or as directed by your doctor.

Lipaglyn Tablet Salt Composition is Saroglitazar, which comes into the Peroxisome Proliferator-activated Receptor (PPAR) inhibitor Antidiabetics category. 

PPAR alpha causes the diversion of fat from outer tissues like skeletal muscles to the liver. This leads to decreased fatty acid ( the building block fat of the body) synthesis and movement of triglycerides ( freely moving fat content in the body)to the peripheral tissue. 

The other Lipaglyn Tablet uses are increased lipolysis, elimination of triglyceride particles, and reduced production of apolipoprotein C -III (this is responsible for inhibiting lipoprotein lipase activity). These effects are due to the PPAR alpha agonist activity, which predominantly affects dyslipidaemia. The Lipaglyn Tablet is also a PPAR gamma agonist activator. 

It stimulates the insulin-responsive genes which control glucose production, transportation and utilisation. 

Lipaglyn Tablet also increases the expression of PPAR gamma genes. Increasing expression decreases liver glucose output and improves glucose utilisation and plasma-free fatty acids, which are a good energy source.

• Maintaining a healthy weight will reduce the cholesterol levels in the body 
• Stop alcohol consumption 
• Quit smoking 
• Limit the salt and sugar intake 
• Eat a diet rich in omega three fatty acids, fruits, vegetables and fibre-rich foods. 
• Walk instead of taking elevators to stay physically fit
• Try not to overeat, eat in small portions, do not skip meals
• Rest properly 
• Do not stress, meditate and follow yoga for a healthy lifestyle

• Lipaglyn 4mg tablet is used for the treatment of Noncirrhotic Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis, Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) with comorbidities (like obesity, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Dyslipidemia or Metabolic Syndrome), and high cholesterol in diabetes (diabetic dyslipidemia). 
• Lipaglyn tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it .seek the doctor immediately if there are symptoms like rashes, redness, swelling, hives and breathing difficulty. 
• Do periodic blood tests to check the lipid levels during the treatment with lipaglyn tablet.
• Take a lipaglyn tablet simultaneously daily, as it will act as a reminder.
