CompositionVoglinorm-GM2 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes by controlling blood sugar. It is a combination medicine containing voglibose (an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor), metformin (a biguanide) and glimepiride (a sulphonylurea).
It helps regulate glucose levels after meals and through the day. Take it with food, generally just before or with your main meal, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eat balanced meals with controlled portions of rice, roti and sweets, stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight and monitor your blood sugar as advised.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or heart or bowel conditions, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. If low blood sugar occurs, treat it with pure glucose rather than table sugar. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
