Glynamic M2 Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Highly Protein-Bound Medicines: These include acetaminophen, sulfamethoxazole, chloramphenicol, probenecid, warfarin, phenelzine, and metoprolol. They can interact with glimepiride, an active ingredient in Glynamic M2 Tablet, affecting its effectiveness.

• Cationic Medicines: Medicines like cimetidine, amiloride, digoxin, quinidine, procainamide, vancomycin, trimethoprim and morphine may compete for renal transport systems. This can lead to increased levels of metformin in your body and increase the risk of lactic acidosis.

• Iodinated Contrast Agents: These can lead to acute kidney injury and lactic acidosis. It is advised to stop taking Glynamic M2 Tablet before or at the time of the procedure involving these agents.

Certain foods can affect how Glynamic M2 Tablet works. However, specific food interactions are not known.

Glynamic M2 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Renal Impairment: If your kidneys are not functioning properly, this medicine should be avoided as it could exacerbate your condition.

• Hepatic Impairment: You should avoid Glynamic M2 Tablet if you have liver disease, as it may worsen your condition.

• Acute or Chronic Metabolic Acidosis, including Diabetic Ketoacidosis: Glynamic M2 Tablet is contraindicated in such conditions due to increased risk of lactic acidosis.

The daily dose of Glynamic M2 Tablet should be consumed as advised by your doctor. The dosage will vary according to individual factors such as the condition's severity and your response to the medicine. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid exceeding it without consulting your doctor.

If you accidentally consume more than the prescribed dose of Glynamic M2 Tablet, you might experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, dizziness, and weakness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

If you forget to take Glynamic M2 Tablet at the scheduled time, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular dosage schedule. Avoid changing your dosage without discussing it with your doctor.
