Vh 3 Vaginal Suppositories are used to treat vaginal infections caused by bacteria and fungi, including bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis and mixed vaginal infections. They are a combination medicine containing clindamycin (an antibiotic) and clotrimazole (an antifungal).
They help relieve itching, burning and abnormal vaginal discharge, including in recurrent infections. Insert it into the vagina at bedtime, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and use it for the full duration prescribed.
Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment, wear breathable cotton underwear and keep the area clean and dry.
Before using, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had a reaction to similar medicines, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use. Tell your doctor if symptoms do not improve or the infection returns after treatment. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
