It contains tamsulosin (0.4 mg), an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscular tissue in the prostate and bladder neck. Take it as prescribed, ideally 30 minutes after the same meal every day, and continue long-term as directed by your doctor.
Maintaining regular toilet habits, limiting caffeine and alcohol, and avoiding excessive fluid intake late in the evening complement medical management.
Tell your doctor if you are scheduled for cataract or glaucoma surgery, or if you have severe kidney or liver impairment. Be cautious when changing positions quickly to prevent dizziness from lowered blood pressure.
