Unwanted-Kit is used for the medical termination of an early intrauterine pregnancy under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. It is a combination medication containing mifepristone and misoprostol. It belongs to the classes of medicines called progesterone receptor antagonists and prostaglandin E1 analogues.
This medicine is used according to a medically recommended protocol based on gestational age and individual health conditions. Before prescribing this kit, the healthcare professional will assess the duration and location of the pregnancy, review medical history and explain the expected effects and follow-up requirements.
Abdominal cramps and vaginal bleeding are expected during medical abortion. Rest, adequate hydration and access to medical care can help during the process. Follow-up is important to confirm that the pregnancy has ended successfully and to identify any complications.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a suspected ectopic pregnancy, bleeding disorder, severe anaemia, adrenal insufficiency or an allergy to either ingredient. Tell your doctor if you use blood thinners, long-term corticosteroids or have an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD). Seek immediate medical attention for excessive bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fainting or signs of infection.
