TusQ-X Plus Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat a productive cough, also known as a wet cough, which produces thick mucus. It is commonly prescribed to relieve airway congestion associated with respiratory disorders such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It contains three active ingredients: terbutaline (a bronchodilator), ambroxol (a mucolytic agent), and guaifenesin (an expectorant). Together, they relax the airway muscles, thin out the thick secretions, and increase mucus clearance from the respiratory tract, making coughing easier. It can be taken with or without food.
To support the effectiveness of this syrup, ensure you drink plenty of warm fluids throughout the day. Staying well-hydrated helps thin the mucus in your lungs faster, making it easier to clear your airways and easing chest tightness.
Before taking this syrup, inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, or a history of stomach ulcers. Let them know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Follow the exact dose and duration prescribed.
