Amrox Junior Syrup is used in children to relieve a wet cough and chest congestion.

• Terbutaline (1.25 mg/5 ml): A selective beta-2 agonist that works by stimulating beta-2 receptors in the lungs, causing relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles. This leads to the widening of the airways (bronchodilation), improving airflow, and enabling easier breathing, and expulsion of mucus.

• Ambroxol (15 mg/5 ml): A mucoactive medicine that works by breaking down complex proteins and sugars in the respiratory tract, making secretions thinner and less sticky. This helps clear mucus through natural mechanisms.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg/5 mL): An expectorant that works by stimulating mucus secretion, thereby increasing the volume and reducing the stickiness of respiratory tract secretions. The increase in airway hydration aids in removing accumulated secretions.

  Together, the mucolytic, expectorant, and bronchodilator actions of these active ingredients enhance the clearance of respiratory secretions and provide symptom relief in your child.
