Management of hypertension in adults
Control of high blood pressure when dual combination therapy is insufficient
Reducing peripheral vascular resistance for blood pressure control
Decreasing cardiac output to help manage high blood pressure
Lowering blood pressure by reducing the volume of blood

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, it inhibits the movement of calcium into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle cells. This action causes these muscles to relax (a process called vasodilation), reducing peripheral vascular resistance and thereby lowering blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient is a thiazide diuretic which increases the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water from the kidneys. By reducing the volume of blood that needs to be pumped around the body, it decreases cardiac output and helps lower blood pressure.
Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker selectively prevents angiotensin II from binding to its receptor in vascular smooth muscle and adrenal gland cells. This inhibition relaxes blood vessels (vasodilation) and reduces peripheral resistance, which lowers blood pressure.

Pregnancy

Tripin OM 40 Tablet is not recommended if you are pregnant, especially during the second and third trimesters. It is best to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Breastfeeding
