Trimium Transhaler 180mdi contains three active ingredients that work together to manage COPD:

• Tiotropium (9 mcg): This anticholinergic blocks the action of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. By doing so, it prevents the airways from constricting, further improving the flow of air to the lungs.
• Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): As a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), formoterol fumarate relaxes the muscles around the airways. This allows the airways to open up, making it easier for air to flow in and out of the lungs.
• Ciclesonide (200 mcg): This inhaled corticosteroid works by reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways. This helps to decrease the difficulty in breathing which is a common symptom of COPD.
