Topisal 6% Ointment is used to treat inflamed, hyperkeratotic skin conditions.

Primary Uses of Topisal 6% Ointment are:

• Psoriasis and Eczema: Relieves scaly patches, itching, and redness.
• Other Conditions: Eases lichen planus, dermatitis, and lichen simplex chronicus, helping control chronic itching and inflammation.

Apply Topisal-6% Ointment as suggested below:

• Before applying, make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry.

• Cleanse the area with mild soap and water, then pat it dry with a clean towel.

• Use your fingertip or a clean cotton swab to apply the ointment on the affected area.

• The amount of ointment required will depend on the size of the affected area.

• Gently massage it into your skin until it's absorbed.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly to avoid spreading any potential infection.

Topisal-6% Ointment contains two active ingredients:

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): A potent corticosteroid, clobetasol propionate, works by reducing the release of inflammation-causing substances in the body. This action helps alleviate symptoms like redness, itching, and swelling associated with skin conditions.

• Salicylic Acid (6%): Classified as a keratolytic agent, salicylic acid helps in shedding the outer layer of skin.
