CompositionTamoxifilm 20 Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment and prevention of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer in pre-menopausal and post-menopausal women. It is also prescribed to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence following primary treatment and, in select cases, for high-risk individuals or infertility management under specialist supervision.
It contains tamoxifen, a selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM). Take the tablet whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. It is taken continuously as part of a long-term treatment plan; do not miss doses or stop therapy without consulting your oncologist.
Maintaining a healthy body weight, engaging in light physical exercise, eating a balanced diet rich in calcium, and attending regular follow-up visits support bone and overall health during long-term therapy.
Inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you have a history of blood clots, stroke, liver disease, or high triglycerides. It is strictly not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report unusual vaginal bleeding, leg pain, swelling, or shortness of breath to your doctor immediately.
