Swich CV 325 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract, skin, ear, throat, sinuses, and pneumonia. It is also effective against sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhoea. The combination of Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic acid helps eliminate harmful bacteria causing these infections.

• Pneumonia: A lung infection that can cause fever, cough, chest pain, and difficulty breathing.
• Sinus infections: Infections that cause inflammation of the sinuses, leading to facial pain, headache, and nasal congestion.
• Throat infections: Infections that cause sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and swollen tonsils.
• Skin infections: Bacterial infections of the skin that cause redness, swelling, and pus-filled lesions.
• Urinary tract infections: Infections that affect the urinary system and can cause pain during urination and frequent urination.
• Sexually Transmitted Infections: Swich CV 325 Tablet may be used to manage certain sexually transmitted infections like Gonorrhoea.
• Otitis media: Swich CV 325 Tablet also relieves the symptoms of middle ear infections, also known as otitis media, caused by susceptible bacteria.

• Swallow Swich CV-325 Tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Swich CV-325 Tablet is taken orally.

Swich CV-325 Tablet contains the following components:

• Cefpodoxime proxetil (200 mg): It is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin class. It inhibits the growth of bacteria. It does this by interfering with bacterial cell wall formation, which is essential for their survival. Targeting the cell wall effectively kills or inhibits the growth of bacteria, helping to treat infections.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): It is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. These are enzymes produced by certain bacteria that can break down and inactivate antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins. Clavulanic acid blocks the action of these beta-lactamase enzymes, thus preventing them from inactivating the antibiotic.

• Protect it from moisture.
• Keep Swich CV-325 Tablet away from children.

• Quit smoking and avoid secondhand smoke exposure, as it can worsen respiratory symptoms.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and acidic drinks, which may worsen urinary symptoms.
• Urinate frequently and empty your bladder to prevent bacterial growth.
• Practice safe sex to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
• Avoid sexual activity until the bacterial infection is treated and cleared to prevent further transmission.
