Swich CV 325 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections.

Uses of Swich CV 325 Tablet are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats pneumonia, bronchitis and sinus infections.
• Ear and Throat Infections: Treats middle-ear and throat infections.
• Urinary and Skin Infections: Treats infections of the urinary tract and skin.

• Swallow Swich CV-325 Tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change the tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Swich CV-325 Tablet is taken orally.

Swich CV-325 Tablet contains the following components:

• Cefpodoxime proxetil (200 mg): It is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin class. It inhibits the growth of bacteria. It does this by interfering with bacterial cell wall formation, which is essential for their survival. Targeting the cell wall effectively kills or inhibits the growth of bacteria, helping to treat infections.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): It is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. These are enzymes produced by certain bacteria that can break down and inactivate antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins. Clavulanic acid blocks the action of these beta-lactamase enzymes, thus preventing them from inactivating the antibiotic.

• Quit smoking and avoid secondhand smoke exposure, as it can worsen respiratory symptoms.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and acidic drinks, which may worsen urinary symptoms.
• Urinate frequently and empty your bladder to prevent bacterial growth.
• Practice safe sex to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
• Avoid sexual activity until the bacterial infection is treated and cleared to prevent further transmission.
