Storvas D 20 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (20 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines called statins. It works by inhibiting an enzyme named HMG-CoA reductase in your liver. This enzyme is essential for producing cholesterol in your body. By blocking this enzyme's activity, atorvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels by decreasing its production and increasing its breakdown in the liver.

• Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) (1000 IU): This vitamin plays a vital role in helping your body absorb calcium and phosphorus, necessary elements for healthy bones. Additionally, it reduces the absorption of cholesterol in your intestines which further helps lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol levels in the blood.
