Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15 is used to manage high cholesterol. It lowers lipid levels in the blood, reduces the risk of heart disease, and promotes cardiovascular health. It is a combination that belongs to a class of medications known as antilipidemic medicines.

In addition to lowering cholesterol, this medicine helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors. It also helps increase the levels of good cholesterol (HDL) and decrease triglycerides (a type of fat) in the blood, while supporting bone health.

Follow these instructions while taking Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15:

Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
Continue taking this medicine regularly for it to be most effective.
Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15 may have the following common side effects:

Nausea: Taking Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15 with food can help reduce feelings of sickness.

Atorsave D 20 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients:

Atorvastatin (20 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, which plays a key role in cholesterol production. By blocking this enzyme, atorvastatin effectively reduces the amount of cholesterol made by your body.

Pregnancy
