Storvas 10 Tablet 15

Storvas 10 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It lowers LDL cholesterol, reduces fat buildup in blood vessels, and helps decrease the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Follow the directions your pharmacist or doctor provided for using a Storvas tablet. Below are the general instructions for reference. 

• Take the tablet with a glass of water.
• Swallow the tablet as a whole, do not crush or chew it.
• This medication can be taken with or without, but taking it at a fixed time is advisable.

Storvas tablets can be taken orally.

• Storvas 10 Tablet inhibits an enzyme (HMG CoA reductase) vital for converting HMG CoA into mevalonate. Mevalonate is used to synthesise cholesterol, so inhibiting the enzyme will ultimately reduce cholesterol production. 
• Statins work by slowing the production of cholesterol and deposition in the inner walls of blood vessels. The obstruction in blood vessels due to cholesterol will cause reduced blood supply to the heart, brain and other body parts. Therefore it is tricky to carry out normal functions.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Storvas 10 Tablet medicine away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Practice yoga and meditation to relax the mind, body and soul.
• Aromatherapy is an excellent option to tackle.
• Breathing exercises are food for the lungs. Keep doing it regularly. 
• Eat foods rich in fibre like legumes, vegetables and citrus fruits.
• Include foods like avocados, olive oil, and fatty fish.
• Nuts are an excellent source of HDLS and unsaturated fatty acids, which are suitable for heart health. 
• Antioxidant-rich foods are to be consumed regularly as they lower the low-density lipids inside the body. Fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of antioxidants and should be included in the diet.
• As a precaution for good health, avoid alcohol and smoking.
