Spasmonorm Injection is used to manage acute abdominal pain and spasms. It is a combination antispasmodic medicine.
It is also used in other conditions linked to spasm and pain, such as intestinal, biliary and renal colic, acute pancreatitis, post-operative spasms, ureter and bladder spasms and painful periods (dysmenorrhoea). It is given as an injection in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eat small, light meals with less oil and spice, drink enough fluids and rest as advised by your doctor while abdominal discomfort settles.
Before it is given, tell your doctor about your medical conditions and allergies and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report severe or persistent abdominal pain, vomiting or blurred vision to your doctor. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not end treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
