Salisia KT Shampoo is used to treat dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp, easing flaking, scaling and itching. It is a combination medicine containing ketoconazole, an antifungal, and salicylic acid, which helps loosen and remove scales.
This medicine helps control the yeast linked to dandruff and clears thick, scaly patches, which also eases scalp redness. Wet your hair, massage the shampoo into the scalp, leave it on for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly, as often as your doctor advises.
Washing your hair regularly with a mild shampoo between treatment days and avoiding harsh hair products and heat styling can help keep your scalp healthy.
This shampoo is for use on the scalp only. Avoid contact with the eyes, and rinse well if it gets in them. Before using it, tell your doctor about any allergies, scalp wounds or other scalp treatments, especially steroid lotions. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Contact your doctor if irritation gets worse or the condition does not improve. Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
