Rytstat 100 Tablet contains Desidustat (100 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Blocks Prolyl Hydroxylase Enzymes: Desidustat works by blocking certain enzymes in your body known as prolyl hydroxylase. These enzymes are responsible for breaking down a substance called hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF).

• Increases Erythropoietin Production: When prolyl hydroxylase enzymes are blocked, HIF is stabilised. This leads to an increase in the production of a hormone called erythropoietin (EPO) in your kidneys. EPO stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, thereby improving anaemia in individuals with CKD.

• Store Rytstat 100 Tablet in a cool, dry place with temperatures below 30°C.
