Rosumac 20 Tablet is used to lower harmful cholesterol and protect the blood vessels from long-term damage. It is a single-ingredient statin containing rosuvastatin.
By lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides and raising HDL (good) cholesterol, it helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular problems. Take it by mouth, with or without food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and keep taking it even when your cholesterol levels improve.
Follow a diet low in saturated fat by limiting fried snacks, ghee, butter and red meat, stay physically active, maintain a healthy weight and limit alcohol.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or drink alcohol regularly, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Regular blood tests help your doctor monitor your progress. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, weakness or dark urine promptly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
