Rexcof LS Syrup is a medicine used to relieve chesty coughs associated with thick, sticky mucus in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps loosen phlegm, clear airway congestion, and ease breathing.
It contains levosalbutamol, ambroxol, and guaiphenesin. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, measuring the dose using the measuring cap provided. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it after meals may help avoid stomach discomfort.
Drinking plenty of warm water throughout the day helps thin mucus and makes coughing easier. Avoiding smoking, dust, and environmental air pollutants also supports lung health.
Before taking this syrup, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, stomach ulcers, or kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you experience severe tremors, rapid heartbeat, or if your cough persists for more than a week with a fever.
