Remo-M 500 Tablet is used in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults.

Uses of Remo-M 500 Tablet are:

• Blood Sugar Control: Helps manage type 2 diabetes mellitus by improving the body's response to insulin.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water during meals.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Always follow the recommended dosage given by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

• It's important to continue the course as prescribed for effective management of your condition.

Remo-M 500 Tablet is taken orally.

Remo-M 500 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Remogliflozin Etabonate (100 mg): Remogliflozin known as a selective sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It works by inhibiting the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, leading to increased excretion of glucose via urine, which helps in reducing the levels of glucose in the blood.

• Metformin (500 mg): This ingredient belongs to the biguanide class of antidiabetic medicines. It reduces the production of glucose in the liver, decreases the absorption of glucose in the intestine, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing the uptake and utilisation of glucose in the body's peripheral tissues.

• Store Remo-M 500 Tablet at temperatures between 15°C to 30°C.

• Ensure the bottle is tightly shut to prevent moisture from seeping in.

• Don't expose this medicine to direct sunlight.

• Store in a cool, dry place.

• Always store it in a secure location, out of the reach of children.

• Make sure you use this medicine before its expiry date.

• As part of managing type 2 diabetes, try to reduce your intake of sugary foods. Foods high in sugar increase your blood glucose levels, making it harder for Remo-M 500 Tablet to keep them in check.
