Reclide Xr+ 30 Tablet is used to help lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is a single-ingredient sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine containing gliclazide.
Good control helps protect against long-term complications such as kidney disease, nerve damage and vision impairment. Take it with breakfast in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and never skip meals, as this increases the risk of low blood sugar.
Eat a balanced diet with controlled portions of rice, roti and sweets, keep regular meal timings, exercise regularly and monitor your blood sugar. Use sun protection, as this medicine can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Learn to recognise signs of low blood sugar such as sweating, shakiness and confusion, and carry a sugary snack. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
