Ramistar Am 2.5 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Reduction of cardiovascular risks

• Therapy for patients not responding to single medicines

• Long-term blood pressure regulation

Follow these instructions while taking Ramistar Am 2.5 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Ramistar Am 2.5 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Ramistar Am 2.5 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This belongs to the calcium channel blocker class of medicines. It works by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels and heart, which causes the blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering blood pressure.

• Ramipril (2.5 mg): This is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It blocks the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II (a powerful blood vessel constrictor), leading to relaxation and widening of blood vessels. It also reduces aldosterone production, which decrease
