Rablet-L 40 Capsule is used to manage GERD, peptic ulcers (gastric and duodenal), functional dyspepsia, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It also helps improve diabetic gastroparesis symptoms and is used in combination with antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori infections associated with peptic ulcer disease.

Follow these directions while taking Rablet-L 40 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.

• Take the capsule 30 minutes before a meal for optimal efficacy.

• Always take this medicine as per your doctor's advice.

Rablet-L 40 Capsule is taken orally.

Rablet-L 40 Capsule contains two active ingredients that work in different ways:

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): This component acts as an antagonist at dopamine D2 receptors in certain parts of your body. These receptors are found in areas like the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and gastrointestinal tract. By acting against these receptors, levosulpiride helps prevent feelings of nausea and vomiting and stops acid reflux. It also enhances the movement of food through your stomach and intestines by increasing their motility.

• Rabeprazole (40 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, rabeprazole works by blocking an enzyme system in your stomach called H+/K+ ATPase or 'proton pump'. This enzyme plays a pivotal role in acid production within your stomach. By inhibiting this enzyme, rabeprazole effectively reduces the amount of acid in your stomach.

The combination of levosulpiride and rabeprazole provides a comprehensive approach to managing gastrointestinal symptoms by improving gut motility and decreasing stomach acid production.

• Store Rablet-L 40 Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Protect it from light and moisture by keeping the container tightly closed.

• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use Rablet-L 40 Capsule past its expiry date.

• Avoid foods that increase acid reflux such as spicy foods, caffeine, and alcohol, as Rablet-L 40 Capsule is used to manage gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

• Maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight can put pressure on your abdomen, pushing up your stomach and causing acid to reflux into your oesophagus.
