Rabicer O Tablet 10 is used to prevent and control nausea and vomiting caused by cancer treatment, radiotherapy or surgery, and to manage acid-related digestive conditions such as reflux and ulcers in adults.

Uses of Rabicer O Tablet 10 are:

• Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy-related Nausea: Prevents nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
• Post-Surgery Nausea: Reduces nausea and vomiting that can occur after surgery.
• Acid Reflux (GERD): Manages symptomatic and erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease and helps maintain healing.
• Stomach and Duodenal Ulcers: Helps heal duodenal ulcers, reduces recurrence linked to Helicobacter pylori, and manages conditions causing excess acid production such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

To use Rabicer O Tablet 10, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.
• Take this medication before a meal, preferably in the morning.
• Ensure to follow your doctor's advice about when and how to take this medicine.

Rabicer O Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Rabicer O Tablet 10 contains two key ingredients:

• Ondansetron (4 mg): As a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, ondansetron works by blocking specific serotonin receptors found in your central and peripheral nervous system. These receptors trigger the vomiting reflex when activated by certain chemicals like serotonin. By preventing this activation, ondansetron effectively reduces nausea and vomiting.
• Rabeprazole (20 mg): This proton pump inhibitor works by targeting an enzyme called H+, K+-ATPase in the cells lining your stomach. This enzyme is responsible for producing hydrochloric acid in your stomach. By binding to this enzyme and inhibiting its function, rabeprazole helps decrease the production of stomach acid, allowing damaged gastrointestinal mucosa to heal.

• Rabicer O Tablet 10 should be stored in a cool, dry place, ideally between 20° to 25°C.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
