Predmet Eye Drops 10ml

Predmet Eye Drops are used to manage various eye conditions such as steroid-responsive inflammation in the eyelid and eye surface, allergic reactions causing inflammation, and acne rosacea that affects the eyes. They are also effective for treating superficial punctate keratitis, herpes zoster keratitis, and iritis or cyclitis, which are forms of eye inflammation. The drops can help manage select cases of infective conjunctivitis and eye injuries resulting from chemical, radiation, or thermal burns, and they can assist in treating foreign body penetration in the eye.

Ensure you follow these instructions while using Predmet Eye Drop:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Put one to two drops into the affected eye(s) four times daily.

• Do not touch any surface with the dropper tip to avoid contamination.

• If your symptoms do not improve after two weeks, consult your doctor.

• Avoid stopping usage abruptly. Gradually decrease frequency under your doctor's guidance if needed for chronic conditions.

Predmet Eye Drop is instilled topically.

Predmet Eye Drop consists of two active ingredients:

• Prednisolone Acetate (10 mg): As a corticosteroid, prednisolone acetate works by suppressing the inflammatory response in your body to different inciting agents. It produces proteins called lipocortins that inhibit the creation of inflammation mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This action results in reducing inflammation-related symptoms such as edema, capillary dilation, and scar formation.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01%): This ingredient acts as a preservative with bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties against various bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Benzalkonium chloride disrupts microbial cell membranes causing leakage of cellular contents. In Predmet Eye Drop, this ingredient helps maintain sterility in the multidose container by preventing microbial growth.

• Store Predmet Eye Drop upright at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight.

• Ensure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use to avoid contamination.

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
