Pantin D Capsule PR is used to manage hyperacidity, promote healing of the food pipe, and prevent acid reflux symptoms.

Uses of Pantin D Capsule PR are:

• GERD and Reflux: Treats acid reflux, relieving heartburn and preventing irritation of the food pipe.
• Erosive Esophagitis: Helps heal acid-induced inflammation and damage in the oesophagus.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Manages abnormally excessive stomach acid production.

Follow these instructions while taking Pantin-D Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Take the capsule 30 minutes before a meal, preferably in the morning.

• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.

• Always consult your doctor for a dosage tailored to your health condition and needs.

Pantin-D Capsule is taken orally.

Pantin-D Capsule contains two active medicinal ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This ingredient functions as a dopamine antagonist with antiemetic and prokinetic properties. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in your brain's chemoreceptor trigger zone and in your gastrointestinal tract. This action promotes movement of food through your stomach and intestines, helping to prevent reflux. It also helps to control feelings of nausea and vomiting.

• Pantoprazole (40 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors. It functions by blocking an enzyme system (called H+/K+ ATPase) found on stomach cells that produce acid. By inhibiting this enzyme system, pantoprazole effectively reduces the production of gastric acid in your stomach. This helps heal damage caused by stomach acid on the lining of your oesophagus and relieves symptoms such as heartburn.

• Store Pantin-D Capsule in a cool, dry place at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect it from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Remember to use Pantin-D Capsule before the expiry date printed on the pack.

• If you're managing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with Pantin-D Capsule, try to reduce your intake of foods that can trigger acid reflux, like fried foods, caffeine, and alcohol.

• Regular gentle exercise can help improve digestion and reduce symptoms of GERD. Aim for a brisk walk or gentle yoga routine daily.
