Rabetero-L Capsule is used for managing the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease: A condition where stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe causing irritation.

• Dyspepsia: Also known as indigestion, marked by discomfort or pain in the stomach.

• Peptic ulcer disease: This involves painful sores or ulcers developing on the lining of your stomach, upper small intestine or oesophagus.

• Functional dyspepsia related to delayed gastric emptying, a condition where food stays in the stomach longer than normal.

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: A rare disorder that causes one or more tumours to form in your pancreas or duodenum leading to overproduction of stomach acid.

Here's how you should take Rabetero-L Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or open the capsule.

• Use this medicine at least 30 minutes before eating food, preferably during your morning routine.

• Stick to the recommended dose and do not exceed it without consulting your doctor.

• If symptoms improve, continue taking this medicine for the prescribed duration. Remember to consult your doctor if you have any doubts.

Rabetero-L Capsule is taken orally.

Rabetero-L Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): As a prokinetic agent and dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, Levosulpiride works by enhancing the movement of your stomach and intestines. This action helps in faster gastric emptying and reduces reflux. It also increases the pressure within your lower esophagus which can further help in reducing acid reflux.

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): This is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion. It does this by blocking an enzyme system called H+/K+-ATPase in the cells lining your stomach. By reducing acid secretion, Rabeprazole aids in healing gastric and duodenal ulcers and relieves symptoms of GERD.

• If you're taking Rabetero-L Capsule for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), try to eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of three large ones. This could help reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces.

• Avoid lying down or going to bed immediately after eating. Waiting at least three hours after dinner before sleeping can help prevent symptoms of GERD from flaring up.
