Lazine M Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), and to provide add-on relief in allergic asthma and exercise-induced bronchoconstriction. It manages both nasal and skin allergy symptoms effectively.
It combines levocetirizine, a non-sedating antihistamine that blocks histamine to relieve sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, with montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that reduces airway and nasal inflammation to prevent allergy flare-ups and ease breathing.
Take the tablet as prescribed, usually in the evening. Food does not significantly affect absorption. Consistent daily use provides better long-term allergy control than taking it only when symptoms appear.
Mild drowsiness, dry mouth, or headache may occur. Tell your doctor about any mood changes or sleep disturbances, as montelukast can occasionally have these effects.
