CompositionOzotel-AM Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when a single medicine does not provide adequate control on its own. It helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with uncontrolled high blood pressure.
It combines telmisartan and amlodipine, two medicines from different classes that work together to relax and widen blood vessels, lowering blood pressure more effectively than either alone. Take it as prescribed, with or without food, and continue taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often causes no symptoms.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol intake can all support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, liver disease, or if you are pregnant or planning to conceive, as it should be avoided during pregnancy. Report marked ankle swelling, significant dizziness, or worsening breathlessness to your doctor promptly.
