Osil Cream is used to manage piles (hemorrhoids) and anal fissures by reducing pain, swelling, and itching. It helps soothe discomfort during bowel movements and promotes faster healing of the affected area, making recovery easier and more comfortable for patients with anorectal conditions.

• Calcium Dobesilate (0.5% w/w): A vasoprotective agent that helps reduce inflammation, swelling and bleeding associated with piles (haemorrhoids). It helps improve blood circulation and strengthens blood vessel walls.
   
• Hydrocortisone Acetate (0.25% w/w): A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching and discomfort by suppressing immune responses that contribute to the swelling and irritation of haemorrhoids.
   
• Lidocaine Hydrochloride (3% w/w): A local anaesthetic that provides temporary pain relief by numbing the affected area, reducing pain and discomfort caused by haemorrhoids.
   
• Allantoin (5% w/w): A soothing agent that helps heal damaged skin and tissues, promoting the recovery of the affected area and alleviating irritation.
   
• Other Ingredients: Aloe Vera Gel, Rose Essence, Cream Base.

• For Pain Relief: Lidocaine (also known as Lignocaine) is a local anaesthetic that works by numbing the affected area. When applied to the rectal area, it helps temporarily block pain signals, thus providing relief from the discomfort caused by haemorrhoids. This is especially useful during bowel movements when piles often cause significant pain.
