CompositionOzotel Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in people aged 55 and over who are at high cardiovascular risk.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels so blood flows more easily.
Take it with or without food at the same time each day, and continue it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Do not use it in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before use. Your doctor may check your kidney function and potassium.
