Ozotel Amh Tablet 30

Ozotel AMH Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Providing initial therapy in patients likely to need multiple medicines to reach their blood pressure targets

• Serving as a substitute therapy in patients controlled on amlodipine, hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan taken either individually or as dual combination therapy along with one of the individual components.

Here's how you should take Ozotel AMH Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's nearly time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and maintain your regular schedule.

• Avoid doubling up on doses to make up for a missed one.

• Always consult your doctor for any specific advice or instructions about taking this medicine.

Ozotel AMH Tablet is taken orally.

Ozotel AMH Tablet contains three active ingredients that work together in the body:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): As a calcium channel blocker, amlodipine relaxes and widens your blood vessels by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells lining the walls of these vessels. This makes it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient is a thiazide diuretic which works by increasing the excretion of sodium and water from the body. It acts on the kidneys to reduce reabsorption of salts into the blood, leading to increased urine output. This reduction in fluid volume helps lower your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow or constrict. By preventing angiotensin II from acting, telmisartan allows blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing your blood pressure.

• Store Ozotel AMH Tablet at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Protect from light and moisture; keep in a tight, light-resistant container.

• Keep it out of reach and sight of children.

• Use this medicine before the expiry date indicated on the package.

• Limit your salt intake: High salt consumption can increase blood pressure, which Ozotel AMH Tablet is working to manage. Opt for lower-sodium versions of foods when possible.

• Regular physical activity: Moderate exercise, such as a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day, can help lower your blood pressure. Always consult your doctor before starting any new exercise programme.
