Follow these instructions while taking OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Take it in the morning with or without food.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Female genital infections: These are fungal infections that can cause itching and discomfort in the genital area.
Urinary tract infections
Diarrhoea
Headache

Nasopharyngitis: This is inflammation of the nasal passages and the back of the throat, commonly known as a cold.

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless, which resolve on discontinuing the use of OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7. However, if you experience any serious side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

Here are some general guidelines for managing common side effects:

Nausea: Taking this medicine with food can help reduce feelings of sickness.
Hypoglycaemia: Having this medicine with or just after meals can help prevent low blood sugar episodes.

OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Acts as a selective SGLT2 inhibitor that reduces the reabsorption of filtered glucose in your kidneys and promotes its excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood glucose levels independently of insulin.
Glimepiride (1 mg): Functions as a sulfonylurea that stimulates your pancreas to produce more insulin by binding to receptors on pancreatic beta cells, which causes these cells to release insulin into your bloodstream.
Metformin (1000 mg): This is a biguanide that decreases glucose production in the liver, reduces glucose absorption from the intestines, and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose uptake and use in peripheral tissues.

Pregnancy

OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7 is not recommended during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. The medicine may affect kidney development in the unborn baby. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, make sure to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding

Renal impairment: This medicine is contraindicated in severe kidney disease (EGFR below 30 ml/min/1.73 m²) as it may worsen kidney function.
Metabolic acidosis: Patients with this condition should not take this medicine as it may worsen the acidosis.
Liver disease: This medicine should be avoided in patients with liver problems as it may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia and lactic acidosis.
