CompositionOvuloc-LD Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. It is also used to regulate irregular periods, reduce heavy bleeding and ease painful periods.
It contains desogestrel, a progestogen, and ethinylestradiol, an oestrogen. Together they prevent the release of an egg, thicken cervical mucus and change the womb lining.
Take one tablet at the same time each day for 21 days, then have a 7-day break, during which bleeding usually occurs. Follow the instructions carefully for reliable protection.
Tell your doctor before starting if you smoke, are over 35, or have a history of blood clots, liver problems or high blood pressure. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
