CompositionSiphene 100 Tablet is a fertility medicine used to help women who are having difficulty conceiving because they do not ovulate regularly. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing clomiphene, and belongs to a class of medicines called ovulation-inducing agents.
This medicine is commonly used for infertility linked to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or irregular periods, and works by stimulating the ovaries to release eggs, increasing the chances of pregnancy. This tablet is usually taken for a short period at the start of the menstrual cycle, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Use the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Tracking your menstrual cycle and attending all follow-up scans or blood tests helps your doctor monitor your response to treatment and time procedures appropriately.
This medicine increases the chance of multiple pregnancy (twins or more). Tell your doctor about any liver disease or abnormal vaginal bleeding before starting this medicine, and about any other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience severe pelvic pain or bloating, as these can be signs of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), and report any side effects that persist or become serious. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
