CompositionLetsi Tablet is used to treat hormone-sensitive breast cancer in women who have been through the menopause, on its own, after tamoxifen, or in advanced disease, and it helps reduce the risk of the cancer returning.
It contains letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. It works by lowering the amount of oestrogen the body makes, which slows the growth of hormone-sensitive breast cancer.
Take it exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, for the period your specialist advises.
It is only for women who have been through the menopause and must not be used in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any bone thinning, liver problems or raised cholesterol before use, as it can affect the bones; your doctor may check your bones. Report severe bone pain, mood changes or unusual swelling.
