Olmistrum Ln 40 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure in adults

Follow these instructions while taking Olmistrum Ln 40 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• If you feel dizzy after taking this medicine, sit or lie down until you feel better.

Olmistrum Ln 40 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This component is a calcium channel blocker that works by preventing calcium ions from entering the cells of the heart and blood vessel walls. This action relaxes and widens blood vessels, decreasing peripheral vascular resistance (the resistance to blood flow in blood vessels) and reducing the workload on your heart.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this effect, olmesartan helps blood vessels to relax and widen, thus lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow.

• Store Olmistrum Ln 40 Tablet 10 at room temperature (below 30°C).
