Olmezest AM 40 Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

• Olmesartan medoxomil (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by selectively binding to certain receptors in your body, known as angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors. This prevents actions that normally cause blood vessels to narrow and encourages them to widen instead. It also reduces sodium and water retention in your body, further helping to lower your blood pressure.
