CompositionOlmesar-H 40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults, often when a single medicine is not enough, lowering the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems.
It contains olmesartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes the blood vessels, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water.
Take it at the same time each day, and continue it even when you feel well.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, gout or diabetes before use. Report severe, ongoing diarrhoea with weight loss, and your body salts and kidney function may be checked.
